Code of Conduct

Thanks for choosing Do Box!

DO BOXES are automated, bookable spaces that can be used for a number of purposes! They are shared spaces so please keep that in mind when you are using a DO BOX.

Payment
All DO BOX bookings are pre-paid. This allows us to ensure that our calendar is always up to date for you.

Bookings

Our bookings are non-refundable. You can edit the date or time of your booking as long as it's at least 48 hours before it starts. If you don't want to keep your booking, you can donate the time to a community group supported by our Do Good program. The only time we will offer a refund is if we are unable to make the space available for your booking.

Using the Space
We rely on our customers to leave the space and furniture in the condition it was in when you arrived. This means it should all be packed away and tidy. You are in charge of everyone you let into the space during your booking. This means if anything is damaged or stolen, this will be your responsibility.

Noise
Please keep the noise to a respectful level. There are people living nearby and we want to keep them happy.

Alcohol
If you are serving alcohol during your booking,  you must comply with all liquor licensing laws.

No Smoking, Pets or BBQs allowed in the DO BOX
We're pretty sure you already know this but just in case!

Cleaning
If you leave the DO BOX messy or fail to clean up after yourself, DO BOX may charge you a cleaning fee of up to $250. So please take away your rubbish and put everything away!

Health and Safety
Please ensure that you keep everyone in your group safe while using DO BOX.

Incidents
If something bad happens to the space or furniture, you need to tell us straight away. Please send an email to support@dobox.nz to let us know.

Overstayers
If you do not leave DO BOX when your booking ends, you will be charged separately for all additional time you use.

Lost & Found
If you leave items behind after your booking, we can't guarantee that they will be safe so please make sure you take everything with you.
