How do I unlock the door?
Unlock the door with your mobile device. Login to the DO BOX website and navigate to your booking for access to the unlock button.
Is the venue available for my event date?
All existing bookings will appear on the calendar page so you can always view the current availability for any given date.
Why isn't the venue all set up for me?
DO BOX is an interactive experience that allows you to customise the space for your needs exactly - whether it's a meeting, a pop-up retail shop, a brainstorm session or a private event. It gives you the space to be creative and set it up in ways we haven't even thought of yet! It's also a great icebreaker for a team-building session - start by working together to create the space.
How much does it cost?
Our price depends on how long you wish to book: 1-4 hrs $60/hr 4-8 hrs $50/hr 8+ hrs $40/hr
Because the pricing is hourly, you can book as long as you need to - right down to the half hour. There is no minimum food and drink spend and no forms to complete to request your booking time - if the space is available you can book it right then and there. This means you don't have to wait for replies during business hours so you can book when it's convenient for you. Pricing is GST inclusive.
What if I need to change my booking?
You can log in and edit your booking to find another date that works for you. We ask that you make all changes 48 hours prior to the start of your booking - we don't want the space held up if you know you won't use it and others might!
If you can no longer make use of your booking you can donate the time to our community chest so it can be offered to community groups. Bookings are non-refundable.
How does my community group request free hours?

Can I view the venue before booking?
You can drop by the location to have a look in the window but please don't disrupt a booking that is taking place. We don't currently offer viewings but you can always visit during a public event.
Can you send me an invoice for payment?
All of our payments are done by credit card and a tax invoice is issued at the time of payment. This means that it's simple and quick to book which allows our calendar to always be current without the need to hold space with deposits.
How do I use the TV and tech stuff?
We have chosen easy-to-use options so that you can turn up with your laptop, connect using Chromecast or an HDMI cable and be ready to present! If you are running a video conference, we have a webcam mounted on the TV that you can connect to your laptop with USB if you'd like to share video of your whole group. Why are there no food waste rubbish bins?
Because DO BOX is unattended, we ask that you take away any food waste you might create during your booking. There is a bin for non-food waste available in the kitchenette.
